With today’s press conference at Tennessee, all six vacancies in the SEC have finally been filled. Here are few quick thoughts about the new guys:

**–Jeremy Pruitt, Tennessee: After a series of embarrassing missteps by Tennessee, Phillip Fulmer stepped in and made the difficult choice of saying no to a pair of graduates (Tee Martin, Kevin Steele) and saying yes to the Alabama defensive coordinator.

Pruitt has two tours of duty at Alabama under Nick Saban and one at Georgia under Mark Richt. He knows that a championship program is supposed to look like. When you’re the head coach at Tennessee you can’t just be a good recruiter. You have to be a PASSIONATE AND RELENTLESS recruiter. Pruitt is exactly that. He also has an edge to him, which is something that Tennessee needs. Phillip Fulmer’s decision speaks volumes about where he thinks the program should go.
