Outlook: Villanova looked like a No. 1 team (and national championship contender) in the Big East tournament last week and the Wildcats look like they should maintain that pose as they move into Boston in two weeks for the East Regionals. The Wildcats should win their opener against LIU-Brooklyn (whom we are predicting will beat Radford in Dayton) although former UMass player and coach Derek Kellogg would love to make history with the first ever No. 1 upset.  The Wildcats should also move past Round 2 easily since neither Virginia Tech nor Alabama figures to have enough to pull off the upset.

But then it gets interesting. West Virginia would be a nasty opponent, but we think Murray State will pull off one of those customary 12 vs. 5 upsets and Wichita State is dangerous.

In the bottom half of the bracket, No. 2 Purdue will struggle to get past Cal State Fullerton, hit a wall (probably aganst Arkansas, which will pull off another upset, which will send the Razorbacks to Boston.

Upsets will also be part of the other half of the bracket, with double digit seed St. Bonaventure and No. 3 seed Texas Tech winning their opening round games.

The Regional final looks like Villanova vs. Tech, with Villanova moving to San Antonio.

Upset Specials: St.  Bonaventure over Florida/UCLA winner, Murray State over West Virginia.

Moving to Boston: Villanova, Wichita State, Texas Tech, Arkansas

Regional Champ: Villanova
