One of the things I’ve always liked about Wisconsin is that the Badgers know exactly who they are and make no apologies for it.
Barry Alvarez installed the culture in his 16 years as head coach (1990-2005) and has maintained it ever since in his role as director of athletics. That culture includes a strong running game, a stingy defense, and keeping mistakes to a minimum. It really doesn’t matter who the head coach is. He’s going to win because of the culture.
