We were 3-3 last week and it could have been better.

Now where have we heard THAT before? Still…..

**–Last week I said I might live to regret it, but I picked Alabama to win at LSU but not cover the 14 ½. LSU was the No. 3 team in the nation and playing at HOME!  Well, I did live to regret it as Alabama won 29-0 in a game that could have been 59-0 if Nick Saban had wanted it to be.

**–I flat out did not see Missouri—at 0-4 in the SEC—going to The Swamp and beating Florida 38-17. I was not alone in missing that one.

**–I had Texas beating West Virginia in Austin but Mountaineer quarterback Will Grier made one of the best throws I’ve ever seen and then ran for a two-point conversion to beat the Longhorns 42-41. That one hurt.

As you can see from the 29-33 record ATS, we’ve done a lot of hurting this season. But Hope springs eternal.  We have four Saturdays  left to get to the coveted .500 mark. Wish me luck.
